At our internship in Canada, we have had the chance to not only learn more about photography but also videography. Jonathan Grime, the Founder of Jono and Laynie Photography taught us every Monday morning some more video skills. Our goal was to make three videos of refugees or professionals who work with refugees.

For interviews, we learned how to set up cameras, where to have interviewees sit, and which microphones to use. It takes a lot of practice and experience but it is a lot of fun.

We have interviewed different people who work with refugees and asked them about their thoughts and experiences. Over the next few weeks, we would like to share these videos with you, on the blog. Our hope is that you would get inspired, motivated and informed and  get connected with refugees if you are not already.
