Yesterday was the last day of our Asia outreach. We woke up early and made our way down from Battambang to Phnom Penh. Our last night was spent debriefing and talking about the last 3 months of outreach over dinner at a near by restaurant. The music was loud and the monsoon rain was even louder. Not the ideal place to have a serious talk, but it was still great. Most of the time things don’t come packaged in the way we think it will. I think that is such a big part of what we have experienced in the past 3 months of outreach. In so many ways this trip has been different to what we expected. We have ended up doing things we didn't plan, we have been challenged in ways we didn't realize we needed to be challenged and we have learned different lessons than we thought we would. And it's still been great. We will now separate for 2 weeks and meet back in Brantford for a new chapter of track.
